Awarded films at Liburnia Film Festival

11th Liburnia Film Festival, festival of Croatian documentary films just finished. Almost 3000 people in the audience and 4000 in total, 60 domestic and regional guests was biggest visit we've ever had. Jury, Iva Kraljević (DOP and editor, Croatia), Željka Sukova (director and producer, Croatia), Silvestar Kolbas (DOP and director, Croatia), Boris Mitić (director and producer, Serbia) and Filip Remunda (director and producer, Czech Republic) made their decisions.

Best film of 11th Liburnia Film Festival is 'Autofocus' by Boris Poljak produced by Milva Film & Video. Special mention went to co-production between Serbia and Croatia (Freezone Jr. andFade In) to young Croatian director Kaja Šišmanović for her film 'How's Everyone at Home?' ('Kak'je doma?'). Audience decided that best film is 'Park of Love' ('Park ljubavi') by Lana Kosovac (produced by Academy of Dramatic Art).

Best regional film award (films from Istarska, Ličko-senjska and Primorsko-goranska counties) is devided between two films: 'The Waiting Point' ('Polazište za čekanje') by Maša Drndić and 'Terrace' ('Terasa') by Vedran and Sanja Šamanović.

For the first time the jury handed awards for best director - Đuro Gavran (film 'The Verdict' / 'Presuda'), best cinematographer - Boris Poljak (film 'Autofocus'), best editor - Damir Čučić (film 'Autofocus') and best sound designer - Davor Tatić (film 'Čedo').
